COVID-19 - A message from SHAPE’s CEO, Peter Marix-Evans

Together, we are experiencing a truly unprecedented situation as the global Coronavirus pandemic unfolds. This is having a significant effect on us all as we try to develop strategies to protect our families, our businesses, our communities and our way of life. Our highest priority during this time is the well-being and safety of our people, clients and subcontractors as we focus on our commitment to the delivery of each project.

At this time, SHAPE has no reported cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus and we are taking every precautionary step that we can. We have moved to Stage Two of our Business Continuity Plan to reduce the level of person-to-person contact between our frontline site manager and subcontractor workforces. We are encouraging all other project and administrative team members to work from home, and to limit their exposure to site where practical and asking our clients to move meetings to video conferencing platforms and only attend sites where absolutely required.

We are keeping abreast of government updates and making decisions in real-time based on this advice. We will continue to keep you updated as the situation progresses over coming days and weeks.
