The aim of this project was to increase the value of the rooms in time to capitalise on the upcoming Commonwealth Games. It was important to provide a high-quality outcome, but also keep disruptions to a minimum. Our team designed a programme that maximised the number of sellable rooms while ensuring the quickest possible turnaround time to achieve the desired result. We communicated daily with hotel stakeholders to ensure they were informed of the progress at all times.
This project was completed eight days early and with a result of Perfect Delivery.

SHAPE was engaged by SkyCity Adelaide Casino to transform an old 1930’s ballroom into the new Guardsman Bar. The refurbishment involved the creation of a new main bar, cafe, front bar, front and rear dining areas, gaming room, private wine tasting room, commercial kitchen, lift lobby upgrade, and a new comms room.
